This created a slight problem that I didn't have with the two sisters, though. The two sisters are safely ensconced in Kohen Weyr, which isn't played, and I created a little story about how C'don had been there for a visit and had come to an unhappy realization. Ever since Donae Impressed her green Okylath, Rudyeanth (C'don's bronze) has shown a somewhat troublesome interest in the green. C'don was visiting for the Hatching at which Emona Impressed a green named Galeath, and he had a little too much to drink, so rather than risk himself by going *between*, he stayed in one of the Kohen guest weyrs for the night. He woke when Okylath took to the skies for a mating flight, and Rudyeanth went chasing after her.
Rudyeanth won the flight, and C'don was only just able to get a stand-in in time to prevent incest with his sister. He's been very grateful ever since that he and his sisters live in different Weyrs, and very careful when visiting to make sure that Okylath is no where near her time to mate. So when Daemon was Searched, it occured to his sisters that the same thing might be a problem with Daemon's dragon should he Impress. Thus they shipped him South to be with his brother and hopefully Impress in a Southern Weyr. And that is how Daemon comes to have his own page, when his sisters don't. If Daemon is going to be at a played Weyr, he's a character that I can drag into SLs whenever it's convenient, so he needs to be mentioned for it, and he becomes an ONPC.
He didn't Impress at his first Hatching, but Daemon didn't seem too upset about this. Not because he didn't want to Impress, because he did- very badly. But because he has never had anything happen for him the first time like it has for all of his brothers and sisters, Daemon was not surprised when his dragon didn't seek him out the first time he stood, either. He was determined to keep trying until he got a dragon of his own, and that determination to keep going will help him out in life. He Impressed a brown named Rilvesoth his second time standing, and his brother C'don was very happy for him. D'ae was a little worried that people would think less of him because he didn't Impress a bronze and his brother did, but no on in his family cared, and D'ae is happy with his brown, so there is nothing to really complain about for him.
When Rising Dawn Weyr reopened, D'ae decided that he would go and live there. It wasn't that he didn't like his brother C'don, but C'don has since become the Weyrleader of Storm Fires Weyr, and D'ae just thinks it would be better if he were to be somewhere where he's not in his brother's shadow and where he can be out on his own for a bit. It will be nice to play the young man by himself for a chance, and not just as an addendum to C'don. He did have one experience which he was unprepared for since he arrived at Rising Dawn Weyrhold: he slept with a fifteen year old girl during one of the mating flights, who happened to be none other than A'drov's youngest niece Olivonie. Olivonie didn't get upset or anything, and she seemed pretty level-headed, so he was able to shrug this off. What he doesn't know is that Olivonie became pregnant as a result of this occurrence and aborted the baby by taking a couple of fast trips *between*. Olivonie has not confided in anyone who the father was, so D'ae will never know that he might have been a daddy.
